Mr. Borders
Hello! My name is Joey Borders. I teach 4th grade at New Simpson Hill School. This year marks my eighteenth year as a teacher. In years past, I have also taught grades 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. I am very passionate about teaching and instilling kindness and a strong work ethic in my students. My classroom has a zero-tolerance for bullying or hurtful words. Each year I strive to create a kind, safe environment for my students so they can set personal goals and be successful.
I live in Vienna, IL with my wife, Stephani, my sons Will and Graham, and my daughter Claire. We have two dogs. Jack is a Dachshund/Beagle mix and Bear is a Goldendoodle. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, watch my kids play sports, and cheer on the Eagles!
